Taarak Mehta producer says Sachin Shroff best as Shailesh Lodha replacement

Mumbai . The hunt to replace Shailesh Lodha in the long-running TV series ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is over. The makers have chosen ‘Bannu Main Teri Dulhan’ fame Sachin Shroff to replace him. Shailesh, who was seen playing the role of Taarak Mehta in the sitcom, left the show due to differences with the makers and was unable to find more opportunities.

Producer Asit Kumar Modi had told , “We are looking for a talented actor. Shailesh Lodha may also come back. I never feel good when one of my actors leaves the show.”

He continued, “I talked to him for a long time before he left but I couldn’t do anything because he got some new opportunity and he was keen to get out. We want him to come back. But I can’t wait endlessly for someone. The show is bigger than this, for each and every one of us and the audience, I have to find his replacement if he is not coming back.”

Things did not work out and now well-known actor Sachin is going to be the new face.

In a recent interview to , the producer said, “Yes, we have cast Sachin Shroff in our show. We wanted a face that connects well with the audience and Sachin has worked in many shows. Yes. Also, we wanted a committed actor and he is the right choice for us in that sense as well.”

Shroff has been a part of several shows, including ‘CID’, ‘Naam Gum Jayega’, ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Naagin’.

Now how successful he will be in replacing Lodha, it can be seen only in the upcoming episodes of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
