Touching feet is not a backwardness but a proud tradition

1 of 1

Rakesh was very surprised when his father, brother and himself not only touched his feet but also talked to everyone about their health. Rakesh was bound to be surprised, because this was not the first time that his sadu’s son had done this. This is what he used to do whenever he found it. After the departure of Sadu and his family, a scuffle started in Rakesh’s house regarding this matter. Rakesh’s father said that he is very sorry that my son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren never respect anyone. Far from touching his feet, he never even asks how grandpa are you while being in the house. It is a difference of thoughts as well as of culture. Today’s generation does not teach its children to respect elders or touch their feet, whereas in our time our parents used to teach us this and we ourselves also learn by watching them that when an elder comes to your house or anywhere. If found, one should take his blessings by touching his feet. The old generation has a thinking that the feet of elders and respectable people should be touched, whereas the whole concept of touching the feet of the new generation seems to be a backward thinking of the bygone era. The question is, who is right?

ancient tradition
This tradition has been going on here since time immemorial that whenever we meet someone older than us, we touch their feet. This tradition is looked upon with respect. Today’s young generation is also avoiding it in many cases. Many times the youth of the new generation follow the tradition of touching the feet of elders under the social pressure of family and relatives, but they are not ready for it with their heart and mind. That is why many times in the name of touching the feet, they just bow down to the waist in front. Some show such gestures by bending a little more to the shoulder, as if touching the feet, but not touching the feet.

when someone touches your feet
The person who touches the feet should always be blessed from the heart, because from this the person who touches and touches the feet gets positive results. This increases our virtues. By giving blessings, the problems of the person who touches the feet ends, increases the age and protects him from negative forces.

scientific reason
It is also a scientific activity, which is associated with our physical, mental and conceptual development, as well as it has a psychological effect of its own. In fact, when we bow down and touch the feet, then obviously we have a feeling of respect towards him, due to this feeling the wave of positive energy reaches our body. It gives us a certain kind of freshness and cheerfulness.
