Coffee is most commonly used as a drink. But coffee can also be used for skin care. Coffee has antioxidant properties, which prevent damage to healthy skin cells. Here are some ways to incorporate coffee into your skincare routine, from dark circles to acne.

Dark circles: Coffee contains natural bleaching agents that help reduce discoloration under the eyes. One teaspoon of coffee powder, one teaspoon of honey and a few drops of Vitamin E oil are all that is needed. Apply this mixture carefully under the eyes and wash off after 15 minutes.

Treatment for acne: Coffee is high in CGA, which has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects. Therefore frequent coffee consumption can help fight acne caused by bacteria. Combine 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 3 tablespoons coffee grounds. To make a thick scrub, mix the coffee mixture well with 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Apply this scrub all over your face, avoiding delicate areas like your eyes. Wash it off with fresh water after ten minutes.

Glowing skin: For glowing skin, grind 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and 1/4 cup of coffee in a bowl. Apply the scrub on your face or body and massage gently for 10 minutes. Wash it off with clean water. Provides a glowing, healthy glow to the skin.
