New Delhi. Pakistani cricketer Asif Afridi’s innocent daughter is fighting for life and death in the hospital these days. He has prayed from all over the world for his speedy recovery. His daughter has been ill for some time and is admitted in the hospital. Here Asif’s bad luck is that despite being 35 years old, he has not yet got a chance to play for the Pakistan national team. He made his debut in first class cricket in the year 2009.

Bowling-all-rounder Asif Afridi was part of Multan Sultan’s team in the Pakistan Super League 2022. In this season, he bowled excellently in 5 matches and took 8 wickets. He was included in the Pakistan team in the T20 series played against Australia. But it was his misfortune that he could not be a part of the playing XI. He was included in the Pakistan team in place of Mohammad Nawaz.

Support from former cricketers
Asif Afridi shared the picture of his daughter admitted in the hospital on social media. He wrote in an emotional tweet, please all of you pray for the speedy recovery of my daughter. After his tweet, former Pakistan cricketers Umar Gul and Salman Butt have come forward. He has extended a helping hand. Both these former Pakistani cricketers prayed for the speedy recovery of their daughter.

Not part of ODI team
Asif Afridi last played for Khyber in the List-A tournament in Pakistan. During this he was successful in bowling. He consistently took wickets in matches. Apart from this, he was successful in scoring a half-century. However, Asif is not part of the Pakistan team in the ODI series to be played against the West Indies. The first match of the three-match ODI series between West Indies and Pakistan will be played in Multan on June 8.
