Mumbai . Former ‘Bigg Boss 10’ contestant Manu Punjabi has shared a post on Twitter revealing that she has received death threats like Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
Manu has thanked the Jaipur Police for arresting a man who tried to extort.
The Bigg Boss 10 and Bigg Boss 14 contestant took to his Twitter account to thank the police.
He tweeted, I feel blessed and grateful to Tomarricha, SP Ramsingh ji Com Anand Srivastava ji Jaipur Police for providing me security and locating the culprit. I received an email which claimed that he was demanding 10 lakhs from the gang of killers of Sidhu Musewala or else they would kill me. last week was stressful
According to reports, the Chitrakoot police arrested a 31-year-old man who allegedly sent an email to Manu Punjabi asking him to pay Rs 10 lakh. He claimed that he was a member of Lawrence Bishnoi group. The arrest was made from Bijnor area of Uttar Pradesh. Deputy Commissioner of Police Richa Tomar has started investigation into the matter.
The man has been identified as Kulveer Singh Chauhan alias Tony and it appears that he was a drug addict.
Significantly, Sidhu Musewala was shot in broad daylight in Punjab.
