Lucknow:- Forest department will plant 36 lakh medicinal plants to bring greenery

Lucknow:-The plants that have reached the verge of extinction, which make the environment free from pollution and create a healthy environment for the people. To save those plants, the Forest Department will plant them between July and August during the rainy season this year. This year the forest department will plant about 36 lakh saplings during the rainy season. The special thing in these plants is that this time the forest department has given full importance to plants like neem, pakar and peepal. Along with this, medicinal plants have also been planted. Which is very important for the people. The Forest Department has held a meeting on where these plants will be planted and who will be responsible for planting these plants.

Plants are being taken care of by keeping them in the nursery

The 36 lakh saplings that the Forest Department will plant are being taken care of by keeping them in the nursery of the Forest Department. The 26 departments who will plant saplings, will give these saplings to all those 26 departments during the entire rainy season so that they can reach their place. Can put

DFO Ravi Kumar Singh told that the forest department will plant 36 lakh saplings. 26 departments are cooperating in this. These plants will be planted from July to August. Importance will be given to local species which have reached the verge of extinction like neem , Pakad and Peepal. The 80 percent target will be completed in July itself and the saplings to be planted are being grown by keeping them in nurseries. These plants will be given to the departments in the last week of June.
