IPL media rights sold for 48390 crores, know what did Punjab team’s mistress Preity Zinta say?

New Delhi. The e-auction process for TV and digital media rights for the next 5 years of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been completed. The names of the companies that have acquired the media rights have been announced for the years 2023 to 2027. According to BCCI secretary Jay Shah, Viacom18 has got digital rights for Rs 23,758 crore while Star India has been given TV rights for Rs 23,575 crore.

Star had last bought both TV and digital rights for 16,348 crores. This time it has increased by almost 3 times. Then Star bought both TV and digital rights for 16,348 crores. Giving information, Jay Shah said that BCCI will get more than Rs 48 thousand 390 crore from media rights.

The co-owner of IPL team Punjab Kings and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta also thanked the BCCI and officials for this. He tweeted on Wednesday, writing, ‘Congratulations and a big thank you. The bidding for the rights in 4 different categories was started by the BCCI from Sunday. The first package included TV rights from the Indian subcontinent. At the same time, digital rights of the Indian subcontinent were included in the second package. The third package included digital rights for select matches, while the fourth package included TV and digital broadcast rights from outside the Indian subcontinent.
