New Delhi. Indian cricket team vice-captain KL Rahul has undergone surgery in Germany for a groin injury. Due to this injury, KL Rahul has not been able to go on the tour of England. Rahul shared the information about his surgery on social media. Actually, IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants shared a post on Instagram about the speedy recovery of their captain KL Rahul. It had a collage of pictures of Rahul. With this the caption was written, hope you are recovering fast, Captain sir! Replying to the same post, KL Rahul wrote, “Yes, my surgery is complete.” KL Rahul has gone to Germany with his girlfriend Athiya Shetty.
According to media reports, KL Rahul will remain in Germany for a month. He may be available for selection in the squad for the upcoming West Indies tour of India. After the tour of England, India has to play 3 ODIs and 5 T20 series against West Indies. Rahul is expected to be fine by then. Rahul is a key player in the Indian campaign in the T20 World Cup.
