Edgbaston Test: Bumrah got the first over of the 5th day done by Mohammad Siraj, people were furious

New Delhi. In Edgbaston, the Indian team set a target of 378 runs for England to win in the rescheduled 5th Test match of the series (IND vs ENG 5th Test). By the fourth day in the match, England had strengthened its hold. Chasing the target, the hosts scored 259 for 3 in their second innings and needed 119 runs. Former captain Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow hit half-centuries and returned unbeaten.

Meanwhile, India’s stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah handed the ball to pacer Mohammad Siraj for the first over of the fifth and final day of the match. Everyone was expecting that Bumrah himself would do the first over of the day as he gave England the first two blows. However, Bumrah surprised everyone with his decision.
