Chennai . Director Pradeep Ranganathan will now make his debut as a hero with his next film ‘Love Today’.
The director wrote on Twitter, “Thank you wonderful AGS for this film ‘Love Today’. Dedicating this film to the girl who left me.”
Pradeep will also direct the film and AGS Productions will produce it.
The film stars actress Ivana in the lead role and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Actor Jayam Ravi released the first look and title of the film.
Interestingly, Love Today is the title of a superhit film released in 1997.
Directed by Balasekaran and produced by RB Choudhary of Super Good Films, the film starred actor Vijay in the lead role.
Archana Kalpathi, producer of AGS Productions, took to Twitter to thank producer RB Choudhary for giving the title.
Archana Kalpathi said, “A heartfelt thanks to Super Good Films RB Choudhary sir and our Thalapathy Vijay sir for giving us this title. It’s such a huge force for our film and we couldn’t have asked for better.”
