BCCI angry with this ‘action’ of Rohit-Virat on England tour, may get punishment!

New Delhi. These days the Indian team is on a tour of England where the team has to play 1 Test, 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches. The teams of England and India will face each other on July 1. The team’s star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been found to be Corona positive and has not visited England. Amidst all this, some pictures of team’s senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were going viral on social media in which they were seen posing with fans in England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India is not happy with this action of Rohit and Virat.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli posed with fans last week in London, where the Indian team is preparing for a warm-up match against Leicestershire County Cricket Club. There is also news that Kohli and Rohit also went shopping without wearing masks. BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal has taken this action of the players seriously and has warned both of them not to do so.

Dhumal told InsideSports, ‘The threat of corona in England has reduced a bit, but despite this, players should be more cautious. We will ask the team to be a little careful. A large number of Kovid cases are still being reported every day in Britain. Every day more than 10,000 cases are being reported there.

Cases of Kovid 19 infection were also reported in the camp of the New Zealand team that went to play 3 Test matches on the tour of England. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson also got infected with Corona. When the Indian team toured England last year, the series had to be stopped midway due to corona infection.
