Veteran stars Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher have been married for 37 years and on their wedding anniversary, the ‘Saaransh’ actor penned a heartfelt note.
Anupam wrote on Instagram, “Happy anniversary dear #Kirron. This photo from my wedding 37 years ago was taken out of my father’s treasure trunk during my recent visit to Shimla. May God bless you with all the happiness, long and healthy life.”
He shared an unseen photo from his wedding day. In the photo, Kiran and Anupam are seen wearing traditional dresses.
As Anupam shared the special day with a special note, netizens including members of the film industry commented to wish the couple. Actress Mahima Choudhary commented, “Wishing you both a very happy anniversary and a great journey ahead. You both still look the same.” One netizen wrote, “How lovely… may you always be with me.”
Kiran was earlier married to Gautam Berry and in 1981 their son Sikander Kher was born. Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher married in 1985.
On the work front, Anupam is busy shooting for his films ‘Emergency’ and ‘The Signature’. He will also be seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Uchhai’, which is slated to hit the theaters on November 11 this year.
Kiran, on the other hand, is primarily busy with her political work as a BJP leader.
