Lodge Angeles. Amber Heard has not been dropped from the role of Mira in ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’, reports Variety. A Hurd spokesperson said in a statement to Variety: “The rumours, continuing from day one, are false, insensitive and strange.”
Heard previously reconfigured “Aquaman”, the 2018 superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name, as well as “Justice League” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”.
Heard’s star power, to quote Variety, has eroded in recent months as a result of a very public defamation lawsuit.
Which is why her ex-husband Johnny Depp sued for a 2018 ‘Washington Post’ column that ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ said meant he was physically abusive to her.
During the trial, ‘Variety’ notes, social media heavily supported Depp’s portrayal of Heard as a folk hero and as a liar, leading to countless memes and TikTok videos mocking his testimony.
