The Union Health Ministry has written a letter to all the states and union territories, in which it has been said that doctors who have occupied more than one post for years will now have to give up all administrative posts except one. In such a situation, now the doctors who have been sitting in more than one administrative post for years, they have started having trouble with this decision of the government. After this decree of the Ministry of Health, the doctors who have been sitting in more than one post in government medical colleges and hospitals for a long time have lost their sleep.
The Union Health Ministry has written in its notice that it has been observed that many CHS doctors in the country have been holding more than one administrative post for a long time. In such a situation, the CHS is directed that such doctors, who have been posted in more than one post for a long time, should be relieved from all the posts except one post.
After this order of the Union Health Ministry, doctors sitting in more than one government post may sleep.

The current heads of Delhi government’s biggest hospital LNJP and GB Pant will also have to resign after this order.
These doctors will no longer be able to hold more than one post
Let us inform that Dr Suresh Kumar, Medical Director of LNJP Hospital, Delhi, has been holding the post of HOD of the Department of Medicine along with the hospital head for a long time. At the same time, Dr. Anil Agarwal, director of GB Pant Hospital, has also held two positions for the last several years. Dr. Anil Agarwal is the director of GB Pant as well as the director of ILBS.
After this order, now in many states including Delhi, doctors sitting in more than one post may have to leave the post.
Why don’t doctors want to leave administrative post?
In such a situation, after this order of the Ministry of Health, now in many states including Delhi, doctors holding more than one post may have to leave all posts except one. Let us tell you that the Health Ministry was receiving complaints from many states of the country including Delhi that college education and hospital services are being affected due to some doctors sitting in administrative posts. These doctors have also been sitting in the posts of heads of other departments for a long time. In such a situation, it has become necessary to remove them for the evaluation of the work of the concerned department.
