The number of active patients in the country has now come down to 1, 11, 252. In the last 24 hours, 29 patients have died of corona in the country. The number of people who lost their lives due to corona in the country has now increased to 5, 27, 098. Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry has said that more than half of the corona active cases are coming in 7 states and union territories of the country. Punjab has the highest number of active cases. The number of active cases is increasing in Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Gujarat.
In the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health, there has been a decrease in the number of patients under treatment by 6, 256 cases in a day, while the national rate of recovery from Kovid-19 is 98.56 percent. The number of people who have recovered from this disease has increased to 4, 36, 38, 844, while the death rate has gone up to 1.19 percent. According to the Ministry of Health, the daily rate of infection was recorded at 4.15 percent, while the weekly infection rate was recorded at 4.79 percent. Under the nationwide anti-COVID-19 vaccination campaign, 208.31 crore doses of coronavirus vaccine have been given so far.
