The ancestors can be pleased by using kheer in the bhog. Have a look at its recipe-

necessary ingredients
Rice – 1 cup
Milk – 1 liter
Sugar – one and a half cup
Cashew – 10-12
Almonds – 10-12
Pistachio Clipping – 1 tsp
Cardamom granules – 1 tsp

recipe
First clean the rice. After this, soak them in water for about 30 to 45 minutes. In the meantime, while the rice is soaked, finely chop the dry fruits (cashews, almonds). After 45 minutes, take out the rice from the water and grind it coarsely in a mixer. It is not necessary to do this, you can use whole rice for kheer without grinding it.

Now take a big vessel/pot and pour milk in it and keep it on the gas to heat. Let the milk heat up on medium heat only. When the milk starts to boil, add rice to it and let them cook. In between, with the help of a big spoon, keep stirring the milk and rice so that the milk does not burn. Cook the kheer on low flame for about 20 minutes. When the rice is cooked well, add sugar and dry fruits as per taste and mix it and let the kheer cook for 5 minutes. Finally, mix cardamom powder and cook till the kheer becomes thick and then turn off the gas. Kheer prasad for Shradh is ready.
