Los Angeles Chargers star quarterback Justin Herbert is back in action after a two-week absence due to a foot injury. Coach Jim Harbaugh couldn’t contain his excitement as Herbert returned to practice on Monday, taking snaps during 7-on-7 drills.
Despite the time off, Herbert showed no signs of slowing down, with impeccable accuracy and a seamless comeback to the field. He’s gearing up for the Chargers’ season opener on Sept. 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
While Herbert’s return is a relief, the search for a solid backup quarterback continues. Easton Stick will get the start in the upcoming preseason finale, with new signing Luis Perez and former seventh-round pick Max Duggan also in the mix.
