Mumbai . Documentary filmmaker Mike Lerner produced the three-part documentary ‘Who is Ghislaine Maxwell?’ But shared the reason behind working on it. Based on the life of Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of famous former British socialite and biggest media tycoon Robert Maxwell. It shows Ghislaine Maxwell being sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein commit sex trafficking and also uncovers events in his life.

Producer Hain has revealed, “About two years ago, Dorothy Byrne, the other executive producer on this series, was discussing the upcoming Ghislaine Maxwell case and the fact that all the reports so far have been about her, whether it’s television or The press, really focused on him as a victim of Epstein or in Epstein’s shadow.”

“No one was really defining her in her own right and looking at her biography and her character was obviously a matter of incredible public interest.”

Talking about reporting on Ghislaine Maxwell, Mike shares, “There’s been a lot of lazy and insufficient reporting about who this woman really was, so we decided to get a more complete and detailed look at who Ghislaine Maxwell is.” Will try to give biography.

“I think we’ve achieved that and I think we’ve found an astonishing level of depth in our contributors and the people who knew and knew her well from various moments in her life, including Some still can’t believe how she ended up, says Mike, who was nominated for an Academy Award in 2012 for the film Hell and Back Again.”

The producer continued, “Others really saw signs of her potential divergence at a young age. I think we have achieved a level of perfection and detail that had not been achieved until now.”

Directed by BAFTA-nominated documentary director and producer Erica Gornal and produced by award-winning producer-director and investigative journalist Katherine Heywood, the three-episode series will be streaming on Lionsgate Play.
