Diet is the basis of healthy living

Health is the greatest wealth. The sooner this is understood, the better. Diet plays a major role in this. The human body is doing something or the other every moment.

Health The biggest is wealth. The sooner this is understood, the better. Diet plays a major role in this. The human body is doing something or the other every moment. Even while sleeping in deep sleep, the lungs and heart work continuously, due to which ‘cells’ in the body are constantly made and broken, which are repaired by the life force, which is possible only through diet. We do not need to wait for some outside research to know that if the food and drink is wrong then the body will be in trouble, the mind will also be sick.

deadly cancer
Cancer is taking a frightening form all over the world. In this case, India ranks 155th in the list of 172 countries of the world. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the number of cancer patients in India has increased and is expected to increase continuously. Amla is said to be beneficial like nectar in medical science. People use it less because of its astringency. It can be eaten by making chutney. Eating raw gooseberry mixed with Khand will give more benefits.

Importance of six rasas
According to cancer experts of the country, just as diabetes and heart disease are not caused by a single cause, cancer also does not have a single cause. Western lifestyle, wrong consumption of dairy products, chemical pollution, processed foods, constipation and gastric problems also play an important role behind this.

Decreased physical activity of a person, faulty and unbalanced oily and spice-rich diet, not exercising, excessive use of intoxicants and intoxicants are more likely to cause cancer.
Being mindful of diet not only prevents diseases, but also maintains good health. From birth till death the animal is reared, cultivated and nurtured on the basis of diet. That is why food has been given the name of life in the scriptures. From the natural point of view, fruits, vegetables and food are considered to be the food of man.

These foods are scientifically divided into five parts, in which all the nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, mineral salts and water are in proper quantity, then the body remains healthy. Just as western scientists have divided the elements that make up the body into five parts, in the same way Indian sages have made the principle of six rasas on the basis of earth, water, fire, air, sky.

These juices are
sweet juice- In this, more part of earth and water remains. This juice is nutritious and milk enhancer. Old rice, barley, wheat, moong, honey and khand are the sources of sweet juice.

Acid or sour juice In this the part of earth and fire is more. It is fire-enhancing, digestive, phlegm-pitta, blood-bile.

salt juice- Water and fire element are more in it. It cleans the blood vessels and causes sweating by opening the sweat pores. It is fiery and pungent.

bitter juice- There is an abundance of air and sky in it. It destroys worms, craving, poison, unconsciousness. It is mild and increases intelligence.

Tikta or charpara juice- There is an excess of air and fire in it. It is destroyer of malaria, gout, leprosy, inflammation.

astringent juice- There is an excess of air and earth elements in it. It destroys bile and phlegm, heals wounds, cools and beautifies skin and complexion.

half the food, double the water

Meal Some things should be kept in mind while doing this. For example, food should be half, water should be doubled, exercise should be tripled and laughter should be quadruple. The stomach should be divided into three parts, one part with food, one part with drink and one part should be left empty for the passage of Vata, Pitta-Kapha. Food should be drunk, water should be eaten, that is, food should be chewed and eaten and water should be sipped and drunk. Take fasting or fluids once a month, so that the stomach can be relaxed and internal disorders of the body can be removed, which nowadays is called ‘body detoxify’. Eat less and work out more. Keep your health right by implementing this principle in practical life. If proper care is taken of sattvikta in the diet and the amount of tamasikta is not allowed to increase in it, then diseases can be easily prevented. If the policy of eating sattvik, digestible, small and clean food is adopted, eating less than hunger and on time and working hard, spending the day laughing and playing, then undoubtedly we can get a healthy life. -Pragya Shukla (Natural, Acupressure, Sujok, Color, Alternative Therapists)

simple and fresh food
The body is made up of five elements. As long as these five elements remain in proper quantity, the body remains healthy. When it is more or less, the body becomes prone to diseases. At the same time, lack of juice causes weakness in the body, whereas many diseases enter the body due to excessive consumption. For example, due to excess of sweet juice, diseases like blood disorders, breathing, diabetes occur. Excess of citrus juice or vitamin C causes disorders in teeth, chest, throat, ears, nose etc. Excess of astringent juice causes diseases like gas formation, heart weakness, flatulence.

A person cannot change his working style, but can become energetic by being conscious of the diet. A good diet enhances both health and mind. Most people consider taste as the criterion of a healthy diet, while many people consider the excessive consumption of expensive and nutritious foods to be beneficial. The truth is that the best food for health is that which is plain and fresh. The fridge may be perfect for storage, but by keeping the prepared food in it for a day or two, its nutritional value ends.
Given the present circumstances, nutritious food can be easily obtained in a short time. Half part of the food should be greens and fruits and half part of food. This would be a balanced and nutritious diet.

Mantra of Vagbhata

One who remembers these three things will not fall ill. All the creatures of the universe take living food. It is healthy to accept the food gifts given by nature in the same form. But it is not necessary that only expensive food items are nutritious.

The effect of peanuts like almonds: Dates, peanuts, papaya, spinach are cheap and we can remain healthy by consuming them methodically. If raw peanuts are eaten after soaking and grinding, it is like almonds, it is powerful and nutritious. Cabbage leaves can be used in salads. The vitamins present in it are not destroyed by eating spinach juice or by cooking it on steam.
